I have great respect for Ed Ruscha. I admire Ed Ruscha a lot for his paintings of gas stations and other buildings with curved perspective compositions, and his paintings of words. Barbara Kruger has a stronger message, and in a broader context, Basquiat also uses words. One of his works is "HEAVY INDUSTRIES". I used this as a motif for my "HEAVY METAL" t-shirt, using the same font.
